This lot is for a large wonderful framed wall hanging featuring traditional Chinese silk embroidery, depicting pandas in a bamboo grove. Chinese hand-embroidery art is where meticulous silk threads are used to create the distinct fluffy texture of the pandas and the delicate leaves of the bamboo. According to some research the Chinese symbols translate to “The Picture of Ten Treasures”. This phrase is commonly used as a title for traditional embroidery collections depicting ten symbolic items or animals representing good fortune and prosperity. Framed by a simple black frame that measures 37” tall x 73” wide. The artwork within the frame measures 32” tall x 67” wide.
