1855 United States Large Cent Graded and Certified by PCGS as AU Detail Environmental Damage Noted variety "Knob on Ear" Obverse: Head Left, braided hair, within circle of stars, with date below. Reverse: United States of America around edge of coin Value within wreath. 27.5 mm Designer: Christian Gobrecht Minted from 1839 to 1857. The last year of any U.S. Minted large cents were in 1857.
