Vintage Set Of 2 “Pelham Puppets” Marionettes

Updated September 21, 2026

Excellent selection of two different “Pelham Puppets” branded marionettes, perfect for any collector. This set features the classic “Queen” figure in her sparkling blue gown and the “Giant” in his green garb and club. Both puppets are part of the vintage 1960’s Fairy Tale line from the brand. Pelham Puppets was a highly influential British toy manufacturer founded by Bob Pelham in 1947 with the focus of making marionettes accessible and simple for children. Over its 46-year history, the company grew from a small workshop using salvaged materials into a brand that exports hand-crafted puppets to 40 countries worldwide. They were especially notable for being one of the first British toy companies to secure major licensing deals. Both puppets come with their original boxes which hold great vintage quality and presentation. Boxes measure approx. 13.5” in length with the puppets measuring around 12” in length. Both the boxes and the puppets are in great shape for their age, giving off great retro quality. Puppets have not been directly tested and might need some fine tuning before actual use.
