Cold War USMC Mameluke and US Navy M1852 Officer Dress Swords. (1) USN M1852 Officer Sword. Single edged, double acid etched blade with fuller. Maker marked by Gaunt on the ricasso. Decorated gilded brass hilt with fishskin and twisted wire wrapped grip. Leather wrapped steel scabbard with brass fittings. (1) USMC Officer Mameluke sword. Single edged, double acid etched blade with fuller. Serial numbered 323 on the spine. Maker marked by H & H on the ricasso. Brass hilt with composite grips. Steel scabbard with brass fittings. Leather cover by H & H. Blade Length: 30", 34 1/4" Total Length: 35 1/4", 40 1/8" Condition: Very good to good. Light to moderate wear, oxidation, dark spots and finish loss.
