WWI US Army M1904 Hospital Corps Bolo Knife. Single edged, heavy duty, bright blade. Dated 1912 and maker marked by Springfield on the ricasso, US and serial numbered on the reverse. Brass guard with fingered wooden handle. Leather scabbard with alloy based fittings and steel belt hanger. Maker marked by Rock Island and dated 1911. Blade Length: 11 7/8" Total Length: 17 1/8" Condition: Good. Light to moderate wear, oxidation, pitting, dark spots and finish loss.
