Imperial German Artillery Officer Lion Head Dress Sword. Single edged, slightly curved, bright blade. Maker marked by E&F Horster on the ricasso. Triple acid etched with floral and patriotic patterns. Leather buffer pad. Decorated brass hilt with ruby eyed lionhead pommel. Black celluloid with twisted wire grip. Plated steel scabbard. Blade Length: 31 1/4" Total Length: 36 3/8" Condition: Good. Light wear, oxidation, scratches and finish loss.
