Civil War US Navy M1852 Officer Dress Sword. Single edged, bright blade with fuller. Double acid etched with naval & patriotic designs. No visible maker mark. Leather buffer pad. Decorated brass hilt with fishskin and twisted wire wrapped grip. Leather scabbard with brass fittings. Blade Length: 29" Total Length: 34 1/2" Condition: Good. Light to moderate wear, oxidation, dark spots and finish loss.
