Civil War US M1840 Sword. Single edged, bright blade. Maker marked by Tiffany and Co on the ricasso, PDL on the reverse. Brass hilt with three-branch D guard. Leather and twisted wire wrapped wooden grip. No scabbard. Blade Length: 35 3/4" Total Length: 41 1/2" Condition: Good. Light wear, oxidation, scratches and finish loss.
