US M1833 Dragoon Sword. Single edged blade with rounded spine. Engraved maker mark of NP Ames Cutlery Springfield 1837 near the ricasso, with United States on the reverse. Stamped WS on the ricasso and quillon. Leather buffer pad. 3 branch brass D guard with leather wrapped wooden grip. No scabbard. Blade Length: 33 3/4" Total Length: 39 1/4" Condition: Good. Light wear, oxidation, dark spots and finish loss. Light rust spots near the tip.
