A window card for this early magician. Hurd (1873-1941), a magician who first started out in magic in 1891 in New York City. His act took him all over the United States and some foreign countries. While touring South America he became ill and retired from the stage. He retired to Fort Wayne, Indiana and was a member of the I.B.M executive committee for their third annual convention in Lima, Ohio. He also performed at the fifth, held in Fort Wayne in 1930 and this card is from that convention. It was printed by W.W. Durbin's firm. This example is from the Ray Goulet collection as noted by the label on the back. Very good. $50+
