The uncorrected Proof of William Lindsey Gresham's: Houdini The Man Who Walked Through Walls. First published in the U.S. as a hardcover by Henry Holt & Co. on August 3, 1959. This proof was sent to Milbourne Christopher for review as Christopher is listed as providing source material for the publication. The Amazing Randi assisted Gresham on the book, and for his efforts Gresham promised Randi would be the "first and last name mentioned in the text. Several small penciled corrections are withing this proof. Christopher writes "Notes By Randi". Houdini The Man Who Walked Through Walls would go on to have a number of printings in both hard and soft cover bindings. It is considered to be one of the first acurrate books to be published on Houdini. Bound by String, detached green covers along with several pages, shows it was read! No page number, but published book is over 300 pages and this manuscript is complete as issued. Rare. $500+
