A signed S.A.M. membership card for Charles C. Le Bey, number 613 from 1923. Le Bey was a vaudeville performer, manager of theaters in the Savanna, Georgia area, and operated The Great Southern Magic School. He was frequently mentioned in early Sphinx magazines and was noted for his wonderful illusions and transformations. The card is signed, "Houdini" in blue ink. The card also carries the signature of Richard Van Dien, S.A.M. secretary. Back shows some slight loss likely from being removed from a scrapbook. Still, very good. $1,800+
