27.5x30'' Vintage Desportes Framed Rabbit Print

Updated September 21, 2026

Vintage Francois Desportes Framed Rabbits Art Print This vintage 27.5" x 30" framed art print replicates the classic 1720 painting "Rabbits" by French Baroque artist Alexandre-Franois Desportes, depicting a family of wild hares nestled in a lush, pastoral landscape. The print is housed in a substantial double-tiered wood gallery frame featuring a sage green inner border and an off-white outer rim. Sold strictly AS-IS, this piece shows visible cosmetic scuffs and surface wear along the wood frame edges, and it is missing the bottom decorative trim insert molding, which leaves the structural metal framing pins exposed along the lower gap. It remains a wonderfully charming and rustic candidate for a simple framing repair, upcycling project, or casual cottagecore wall display.
