This vintage Sony CDP-C505 is a classic 5-disc carousel compact disc player finished in sleek black, complete with its original RM-D55 remote control. Manufactured in Japan in March 1990, the unit features an 18-bit digital filter and aheadphone jack with a dedicated level control. The rear panel carries a white adhesive certification label reading MARCH 1990 and a printed label identifying it as model CDP-C505, serial number 803300. Measured across the widest point: 17inches.This handsome unit presents in good cosmetic condition with light surface scuffs and dust consistent with its age (photo 5). A small plastic tie is currently resting in the rear ventilation slats (photo 7). The power status is untested.
