Chinese celadon-glazed low-relief moonflask. Dimension: The vessel features a classic moonflask shape—defined by its flattened, circular, disk-like body, a short cylindrical neck with a slightly bulbous mouth, and an oblong flat base. Flanking the elegant neck are two smoothly curved, arching loop handles, a direct nod to archaic Islamic and Near Eastern glass and metal pilgrim flasks that were imported along the Silk Road and masterfully absorbed into Chinese ceramics centuries prior.
