Vintage Chinese carved stone seal, hand-carved and topped with a guardian lion (Foo Dog), a traditional symbol of protection, power, and authority. The seal is housed in an original red silk case, richly decorated with gold and blue woven motifs typical of Chinese decorative arts. The seal is carved from natural stone with light coloration and subtle veining. Fine openwork carving details are visible. The piece shows age-related wear consistent with vintage condition, including light fabric wear and natural stone patina. A wonderful collectible for enthusiasts of Asian art, calligraphy, seals, or as a unique decorative object.
