This decorative ceramic piece stands approximately 11.5 inches tall on a white base inscribed The Captain and features a detailed military official in a blue uniform coat, white trousers, and a tricorne hat standing beside a ship wheel. The figure holds a flag pole bearing a red United States Marine Corps flag trimmed with gold fringe. The underside bears the official crown backstamp marked Lefton China Hand Painted, the item number KW4508, a handwritten date of August 1969, and the original red foil Lefton label. The figurine shows minimal signs of age, though close inspection reveals a small clean chip on the back corner of the white base and very light fraying along the edges of the flag fabric.
