This impressive relief-decorated stoneware vessel stands approximately 12.5 inches tall and features detailed high-relief scenes around its cobalt blue body, including a knight on horseback and traditional German figures accompanied by the phrase Wer trinkt Bis. The matching ceramic lid is topped with a molded figural finial depicting a cloaked man holding a drinking goblet, secured by a metal hinge assembly. The bottom base is stamped Germany and shows minor shelf wear. The piece exhibits notable condition issues including multiple chips along the bottom edge of the lid finial base, structural chipping along the interior rim where the lid rests, and a severe vertical crack running down the interior wall of the main mug body
