This auction lot features an authentic, vintage 1966 Topps baseball card number 254, capturing the highly coveted rookie card of Hall of Fame pitcher Ferguson Jenkins alongside Philadelphia Phillies teammate Bill Sorrell. The front of this iconic multi-player rookie card highlights both players in individual color portraits under a bold black and yellow 1966 Rookie Stars banner and a grey Phillies corner badge. The reverse side provides a clean overview of their early professional milestones, detailing Jenkins' minor league lifetime pitching record and Sorrell's batting statistics. Displaying standard raw mid-century card stock characteristics, natural edge aging, and slightly softened corners common for an ungraded vintage star card, this piece represents a premier cornerstone addition for any serious baseball collector or sports history enthusiast.
