Colourful handwoven textile featuring vibrant multicoloured stripes and traditional geometric designs, with elaborate multicoloured braided cords and tasselled ends. Likely a traditional Maya faja (ceremonial or clothing sash/belt) from Guatemala. Measures approximately 90 × 10 inches. Good vintage condition with some loose threads consistent with age and use. Odor free.
