Collection of four U.S. Navy submarine commemorative ceramic mugs featuring two historic Cold War submarines. Includes (2) USS Growler (SSG-577) mugs and (2) USS Abraham Lincoln (SSBN-602) Blue/Gold Crew mugs. Deep cobalt blue finish with detailed gold-tone graphics, submarine profiles, insignia, specifications, and historical information. USS Growler (SSG-577) was an early U.S. Navy guided-missile submarine associated with the Regulus nuclear deterrent program and was commissioned in 1958. USS Abraham Lincoln (SSBN-602) was a George Washington-class fleet ballistic-missile submarine commissioned in 1961 and armed with Polaris missiles.
