Mixed media on canvas. In the Pabuji ki Phad tradition, depicting a continuous narrative with multiple human and animal figures arranged across a horizontal composition, including courtly scenes, mounted figures, and attendant groups, all executed in strong red, yellow, and black tones with patterned borders. Signed unknown in the center. 291 cm x 70 cm (114 9/16" x 28"). This work follows the established visual language of Phad painting associated with hereditary Joshi families of Rajasthan, whose narrative scrolls are traditionally used by Bhopas in devotional storytelling performances; comparable examples are held in the collections of institutions such as the National Museum, New Delhi, the Bhuri Singh Museum, Chamba, and the Asian Art Museum, San Francisco.
