ABOUT THIS PRODUCT The VEVOR 1 Ton Manual Desktop Arbor Press (Model AP-1) is designed for workshop tasks requiring steady, localized force. It is commonly utilized for installing and removing bearings, inserting bushings, riveting, bending, and other press-fit applications. Under normal operation, the press utilizes a rack-and-pinion mechanism where a manual lever or handwheel drives a geared ram downward against a slotted anvil plate. This design allows for controlled pressure distribution on various workpieces. Please note that this specific unit has a completely fractured main frame casting and cannot be operated. The individual components, including the ram, pinion shaft, handwheel, and anvil, are included and may be useful as replacement parts.
