Witmer – Lancaster, Pa” on dial, dust cover, and movement, with large hand engraved A.R.W. monogram on outer cover of the 18K solid yellow gold case, with an exquisite pair of diamond-set hour/minute hands and feathered arrow sub-seconds hand over a single sunk enameled dial, stored and displayed in the original velvet lined, burl wood box as imported and sold through H.Z. Rhoads and Brother, Lancaster, Pa *with his business operation located in Holtwood (Safe Harbor), A.R Witmer was a preeminent printer and publisher of Pennsylvania regional maps and atlases during the latter 19th century.
