NOT SOLD IN STORES. An original 1988 playoff promotional sign generated as part of a massive local media blitz by the Winnipeg Jets and their advertising agency, Palmer Jarvis.The "White Lightning / Good Guys Wear White" campaign was launched to push the newly established "Winnipeg Whiteout" tradition, which originally began just one year prior in 1987 to rival the Calgary Flames' "C of Red". Because these were printed in limited quantities for local distribution (often displayed in local business windows, bars, or arenas), very few have survived in good shape over the last several decades.
