Dated: 2009 In December of 2007, H.R. 392 signed into law a bill that allowed for the circulation of United States quarters that pay tribute to the District of Columbia and the five United States Territories. The standard weight of the coin is 5.670g and the standard diameter is .955". They have a reeded edge and a curpo-nicel clad composition (8.33% nickel, Balance CU.) Thickness: 1.75mm The circulating coins were produced in Denver and Philadelphia Mints, and the Proods were made in San Francisco.
