Used, we believe this is a vintage / antique Rayo center-draft kerosene oil lamp, the lamp is missing the lamp chimney. The patent dates on the center medallion- Nov. 20, 94 (1894): Refers to earlier central-draft burner/wick technology patents used by the manufacturer. Other patent date, Mar 24 96 (1896), and 1905 and Feb 28th 05 (1905), shows manufacturing from early 1900's through the 1930's under these patents. Use you own judgement / research regarding the actual age and manufacturer of this item. This unit is untested.
