An unusually compelling approximately 135-card Pokémon Trading Card Game collection, distinguished by a concentrated assemblage of 20 XY-era Mega Evolution and Primal Reversion Pokémon-EX cards, together with an important 21-card partial group from the 2014 Pokémon World Championships "Crazy Punch" deck, a black-and-gold Eternatus VMAX, and a broad supporting selection of English and Japanese Pokémon, Trainer, Energy and promotional-format cards.

At the forefront of the collection is M Charizard-EX 69/106 from XY Flashfire, the celebrated Mega Charizard X issue featuring the devastating Wild Blaze attack. It is accompanied by two other particularly desirable XY-era Mega Evolution cards: M Gengar-EX 35/119 from Phantom Forces and M Rayquaza-EX 61/108 from Roaring Skies. These exact issues remain among the most recognizable and heavily collected Mega Pokémon-EX cards of their respective expansions.

The Mega Evolution and Primal Reversion component is unusually substantial for a mixed collection. In addition to the foregoing Charizard, Gengar and Rayquaza, included are M Kangaskhan-EX, M Tyranitar-EX, M Heracross-EX, M Ampharos-EX, M Gardevoir-EX, M Aggron-EX, M Metagross-EX, M Manectric-EX, M Latios-EX, M Lucario-EX, M Gallade-EX, M Diancie-EX, M Venusaur-EX, a second M Charizard-EX from XY Evolutions, two Primal Groudon-EX cards, and Primal Kyogre-EX. Taken together, these 20 cards form an appealing cross-section of the Mega Evolution and Primal Reversion mechanics that became defining visual and gameplay features of the XY generation.

Particularly noteworthy is the 21-card group associated with Michikazu Tsuda's 2014 World Championships "Crazy Punch" deck. The photographed examples include Mewtwo-EX, Spritzee, N, Professor Sycamore, Colress, Lysandre, Fairy Garden, Muscle Band, Max Potion, Ultra Ball, Level Ball, Startling Megaphone, Fairy Energy and Water Energy, including duplicate examples where appropriate to the original deck construction. The group is immediately recognizable by the World Championships treatment and Tsuda facsimile signature.

"Crazy Punch" occupies a legitimate place in competitive Pokémon TCG history. Michikazu Tsuda piloted the archetype to third place in the Masters Division at the 2014 World Championships, with the strategy centered around Mega Kangaskhan-EX, Aromatisse, flexible Energy movement and the ability to exploit opposing Weaknesses. The Pokémon Company subsequently released the 2014 World Championships decks as card-for-card commemorative reproductions of leading tournament decks; these issues were manufactured with different card backs and are expressly not tournament legal. The Crazy Punch group offered here is incomplete rather than a full 60-card deck, but its concentration of recognizable Trainers, Energy and Pokémon provides an attractive historical counterpoint to the XY Mega EX material.

The balance of the collection consists predominantly of Japanese Pokémon cards fr
