An impressive large-scale Belleek Ireland Triple Fish Vase, standing 16 inches (40.6 cm) tall and representing one of the Irish manufactory's most distinctive and immediately recognizable historic figural designs. Modelled in Belleek's characteristic creamy white Parian porcelain, the composition combines highly sculptural aquatic imagery with the delicate naturalism for which the celebrated County Fermanagh pottery became internationally renowned.

Three intertwined fish rise dramatically from a tiered rocky base, their bodies finely modelled with individually articulated scales, fins and sweeping tails. Their open mouths form sculptural supports around the lower portion of the tall central vase, creating an unusually animated and architecturally ambitious design. Small naturalistically modelled newts or lizards appear across the rocky base, further enriching the aquatic composition.

Above the fish, the elongated vase is enveloped by raised marsh vegetation and bulrushes picked out in subtle celadon, pale aqua and warm ochre tones. Applied butterflies provide beautifully contrasting accents of soft blue and orange, while the upper body culminates in a deeply undulating, floriform scalloped rim. The restrained palette allows the elaborate modelling to remain the visual focus and is particularly characteristic of Belleek's refined approach to naturalistic porcelain decoration.

The Triple Fish form belongs to Belleek's important tradition of Victorian naturalistic design and is among the factory's more elaborate sculptural vase models, combining ornamental porcelain, animalier modelling and botanical decoration within a single cohesive composition. At 16 inches tall, this example possesses substantial scale and commanding display presence, making it especially appealing to collectors of Belleek porcelain, Irish decorative arts, Victorian ceramics, antique Parian ware, fish-form vessels, naturalistic porcelain and European art pottery.

Condition is excellent overall. One localized chip or loss is present to an applied butterfly element, as documented in the accompanying close-up photograph. Aside from this specifically noted loss, the vase presents exceptionally well, with the intricate fish, vegetation, applied decoration, scalloped rim and architectural base displaying attractively. No additional chips, cracks or restoration are apparent.
