A vintage Quinn German modernist sterling silver crescent-form torque collar necklace, sculpturally tapered from a wide graduated front to slim rounded terminals at the back opening. Solid 925 sterling, 42g; the polished silver band flares from approx. 0.29 in. thick at the back terminals to a smooth crescent front measuring approx. 0.68 in. wide at its deepest point, forming an open-back rigid collar meant to slip on from behind the neck; interior opening spans approx. 5.5 in. across; obverse a mirror-polished plain surface w/ clean minimalist lines characteristic of West German 1970s-80s studio jewelry design. Signed ‘Quinn 925’ in script hallmark on the reverse of one terminal — the mark of Quinn Feinsilber Manufaktur, the modernist German silversmithing firm founded by Franz Scheurle and known for heavy, sleek, minimalist sterling designs from the 1970s onward per consignor research. Shows light surface scratching, faint hairlines, and mild patina to the reverse consistent w/ gentle vintage wear; no dents, bends, or repairs visible in the provided images; collar retains its form and springs closed to hold the neck.
