Large Vintage Peacock Brooch - Rhinestones

Vintage costume jewelry peacock brooch from The Brooch Lady Estate, a large estate jewelry collection that included thousands of brooches along with many other pieces of jewelry. Gold-tone figural peacock with full fanned tail, standing. Body pavé-set with small round red rhinestones. Tail feathers with openwork feather designs pavé-set with small round rhinestones in turquoise blue, clear, red and yellow, with larger round yellow and red rhinestones as feather eyes. Clear rhinestones on body and near tail base. Loop on back for pendant wear. Retains pin back as shown. Large, colorful, high-sparkle statement piece. Shows light wear appropriate for age. None of the jewelry from The Brooch Lady Estate has been professionally tested or authenticated by Southern Heirs Auction. Some pieces may be costume jewelry while others may be more valuable.
