Lot of two vintage figural costume jewelry brooches from The Brooch Lady Estate, a large estate jewelry collection that included thousands of brooches along with many other pieces of jewelry. Includes one gold- and silver-tone fairy or ballerina brooch with pale pink translucent wings, clear rhinestones and a rhinestone-covered skirt; and one large gold-tone insect brooch with amber rhinestones, black eyes and multicolor enamel-style wings. Both retain pin backs as shown. Attractive statement brooches with strong color, sparkle and decorative detail. Shows light wear appropriate for age. None of the jewelry from The Brooch Lady Estate has been professionally tested or authenticated by Southern Heirs Auction. Some pieces may be costume jewelry while others may be more valuable.
