Pair of Currier & Ives river lithograph prints Matching pair of large framed lithographic prints after original 1868 Currier & Ives works by artist Fanny Palmer, titled "High Water in the Mississippi" and "Low Water in the Mississippi". Features classic historical scenes of 19th-century steamboats, riverboats, and life along the Mississippi Riverfront. Both prints are double matted with maroon velvet matting and housed in ornate vintage gilt-finished wooden frames. Each frame measures approximately 35.5 inches wide by 27.5 inches high overall. Frames show light age-appropriate surface wear, minor frame rub, and tiny spots of gilding wear. Mats and prints show light toning consistent with age. Glass is intact on both.
