Two painted cast-iron novelty pieces offered together and sold two times the money. 1. Woodpecker door knocker featuring a black, white, and red bird mounted against a textured tree-form backplate. Includes the attached chain and cast-iron pull weight. Measures approximately 6.5 inches long, 4 inches wide, and 4 inches deep. Knocking mechanism has not been tested. 2. Unusual painted cast-iron novelty coin bank depicting a mischievous boy urinating through an opening while being surprised by a goose. Measures approximately 5 inches tall, 5 inches wide, and 2.5 inches deep. Bank operation has not been tested. Both pieces display paint wear, surface marks, oxidation, and patina appropriate for age.
