Outstanding large primitive wooden shelving or drying rack featuring four display levels, including two open slatted shelves, a solid lower shelf and solid top. Very sturdy, heavily constructed piece with shaped corner posts and layers of old white, gray and green paint creating exceptional authentic surface and character. Perfect for use as a country-store display, retail shelving, garden-room stand, pantry rack or decorative storage. Measures approximately 60 inches tall x 53 inches wide x 12 inches deep. Estimated early 20th century, circa 1900-1930. Very solid and in remarkably good structural condition for its age. Retains extensive original wear, chipped and peeling paint, stains, scratches and surface irregularities that contribute to its primitive appeal.
