Vintage circa-1950s E.J. Cossman No. 504 cast-metal Spud Gun toy, manufactured in Hollywood, California. Measures approximately 6 inches long and retains clear "No. 504 Spud-Gun," “E.J. Cossman,” and “Made in U.S.A.” markings. Designed to shoot small plugs cut from a potato. The trigger and plunger mechanism operate smoothly and appear to work as intended; it has not been tested by firing a potato plug. Displays surface oxidation, discoloration, scratches, and wear appropriate for age. Vintage toy only; not a firearm.
