This sign was attached to a door of the machine shed on the Gabel property. It was removed by cutting off the top of the door and leaving the door lumber attached to the back of the sign. This farm was owned by the Dinkel Family and sold to the Gabel Family around 1929. The Dinkel Family owned Dinkel Hardware in Charles City which sold buggies. The Hardware store was located where the current Police Station stands.
