The frame has chips and the backing paper has some rips. <br> <br> Absolut Statehood was one of Absolut Vodka’s most ambitious and extensive art projects. Across the USA, 51 artists were chosen, one for each state and one for Washington D.C., and were commissioned to create “state portraits” representing their respective home states.<br> <br> In conjunction with the campaign, lithographs of each work were sold, numbered, and signed by the artists. All proceeds, approximately 4 million dollars, were donated to the Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS (DIFFA) for medical research.
