This thermostatically controlled sensor valve is designed for hot water recirculating systems and replaces the 367010 component used with Watts Premier 500800 and 500805 pumps and Grundfos UP Comfort Series pumps. Made from PPS plastic reinforced with 50% glass fiber, it offers high temperature resistance, rigidity, and corrosion resistance for dependable indoor use. Installed beneath the sink at the fixture farthest from a standard residential tank water heater, it allows cooler water to return through the cold supply line when the hot water line temperature drops. The valve closes when the line reaches 98 degrees F, helping reduce wait times, water waste, and energy use. It is intended for indoor applications with tank-style water heaters and is not suitable for tankless heaters or outdoor installation.
