Antique Glass Bottle Collection, 4 Bottles Including Dr. Pierces Favorite Prescription Buffalo NY and S. Hall Drug Co. Fayetteville. Four antique glass bottles: 1) Dr. Pierces Favorite Prescription bottle, aqua/green rectangular, embossed Dr. Pierces Favorite Prescription on front and Buffalo N.Y. on reverse, approximately 8-9 inches tall, applied lip. 2) S. Hall Drug Co. Fayetteville bottle, clear/cloudy rectangular, embossed S. Hall Drug Co. and Fayetteville, approximately 5 inches. 3) Small clear inkwell-style bottle, no visible markings, approximately 3 inches. 4) Medium round bottle, heavily clouded with iridescent patina on base, no visible embossing, approximately 6 inches. Condition: All bottles show heavy dirt, haze, and residue consistent with being dug. The Dr. Pierces bottle is in the best shape with clear embossing visible through the grime. The round bottle has significant cloudiness and iridescent sun-colored patina on the bottom. The S. Hall Drug Co. bottle has moderate soil residue but embossing is legible. The small inkwell has general haze. None appear to have chips or cracks but thorough cleaning is recommended. Dr. Pierce was prescribing his Favorite Prescription out of Buffalo NY back when medicine was more about vibes than science.
