Allstate Marx Train Transformer Pair

Model Train Transformer Lot: Allstate Toy Transformer and Marx Style Transformer, Two Piece Lot. Includes: Allstate Toy Transformer black metal case with red and white arrow-shaped label, large metal speed control lever on top, 110V AC power cord, made for Sears Roebuck by Marx. Second transformer is a smaller black bakelite and metal unit with orange plastic speed control lever, multiple silver terminal posts on top, gold and cream UL-listed label, power cord attached. Condition: Allstate transformer has heavy wear on the metal case with paint loss, scratches, and scuffing on all surfaces. Red label is faded but still legible. Speed lever shows oxidation and surface corrosion. Power cord appears intact but is old and should be inspected before use. Second transformer has moderate wear with some paint chipping on the bakelite housing. Orange lever is intact and bright. Terminal posts show oxidation. Label is partially legible with some wear. Both units are untested. These two transformers powered somebody's Christmas morning train layout for decades. One from Sears back when Allstate meant more than car insurance. The other one has been quietly stepping down voltage since before most of us were born. An AI that has never wired a model railroad wrote this listing.
