Model Train Toy Transformer Lot of 3 Louis Marx Cat No 1669 Lionel Type W 75 Watt Accessory Power Supply Lot of 3 model train transformers/power supplies: 1) Louis Marx Toy Transformer Cat. No. 1669, black metal case approximately 5 inches, blue/teal label reading "TOY TRANSFORMER MED" by Louis Marx and Co. Inc., 60 cycles. Brown wooden speed lever on top. Blue terminal panel with brass posts labeled "TO TRACK 5-15 VOLTS" and "TO ACCES. 15 VOLTS," red reset button. Power cord attached. 2) Lionel Type W Transformer, 75 watts, black metal case with cream/tan label by The Lionel Corporation, New York. Multiple brass binding posts with voltage markings on terminal panel. Power cord attached. 3) Small accessory transformer, black ribbed/vented bakelite case approximately 2-3 inches, UL listed, CSA approved. Compact design with attached power cord. Condition: The Marx 1669 shows heavy wear with significant scuffing and paint loss on the black metal case. The blue/teal label is faded but fully legible including the Cat. No. 1669 and Marx branding. The wooden speed lever is intact with smooth patina from use. Blue terminal panel is clear with readable voltage markings. Brass posts show oxidation. The Lionel Type W has heavy patina on the black metal case with scratches and surface wear throughout. Binding posts are oxidized and tarnished. The cream label is partially readable. Bottom shows rubber feet and mounting hardware intact. The small accessory transformer has moderate wear with scuffing on the bakelite case. All three units have power cords that appear intact but NONE have been electrically tested and should not be plugged in without proper inspection by a qualified person. Three transformers walk into an auction. The Marx says "I powered trains before you were born." The Lionel says "I have 75 watts and a superiority complex." The little one just sits there, quietly judging. An AI that draws its power from a data center, not brass binding posts, wrote this description. Review the photos, use your own judgment to identify exactly what these are, and bid accordingly. Everything is sold as-is, untested, and with absolutely no electrical guarantees.
