Set of three hand-carved and painted wooden roosters, each perched on a black wedge-shaped base decorated with stylized foliage. The roosters feature bold, graphic feather patterning in red, yellow, and black over a white ground, with expressive painted faces and dramatically fanned tails. This style of brightly painted folk art rooster reflects a hand-carved folk craft tradition, popular with collectors and buyers for its cheerful color palette and hand-carved charm, and displays beautifully as a trio. Wear commensurate with age, including light paint wear/rubbing to the high points typical of hand-painted folk carvings (see photos). No breaks or losses noted.
