Description: A well-worn antique cast iron block plane, measuring 7 inches long, marked "Made in USA" on the body. Featuring a wooden knob handle and adjustable blade mechanism, this classic woodworking tool shows honest signs of a working life, with dark aged patina and rust toning throughout the iron body, and a warm reddish wood knob worn smooth from years of handling. A great find for collectors of antique woodworking tools, vintage carpentry equipment, or those building a working or display collection of hand planes. Condition: Overall consistent with a well-used working tool. Surface rust and dark oxidation patina present throughout the metal body, as shown in photos; wood knob shows smooth wear from handling.
