Antique Victorian "Mellon" form English Silver Plated Tea Kettle on Stand with burner - Marked "H. Cornforth" (Henry Cornforth of Birmingham, England) - He used this mark between 1855 and 1864 - The Registry code for October 17th, 1855 is inscribed in the lozenge mark as well as alongside the mark - The elaborate and naturalistic design in indicative of the Victorian era with over the top embellishments - Remains in good condition with a small chip to the white glass insulator handle, tarnish and wear - Measures 17 inches to the top pf the handle by 10 inches from spout to handle by 8 inches deep
