An antique hatpin featuring a fluted, lobed teardrop head in gold-toned metal, dating to the late Victorian or Edwardian era. One facet of the bulbous finial is engraved with a Gothic-style monogram, topped with a small spherical bead and joined by a collar to a long steel stem.
