A pair of vintage hand-painted porcelain novelty salt and pepper shakers modeled as a culinary pair, inscribed 'I'M SALT' and 'I'M PEP' across their hats. Each figurine is detailed with gilt accents on the utensils and apron borders and retains its cork stopper. The underside of one shaker bears a red stamped 'JAPAN' export mark.
