A pair of carved alabaster or marble bookends modeled as a stylized spherical owl, executing an Art Deco aesthetic, likely mid-20th century. Composed of figured gray-green and amber-toned stone with incised linear plumage details, the owl features set-in yellow glass cabochon eyes, with each half mounted onto a rectangular stone plinth.
