Lot of 9 early U.S. Indian Head cents dating from 1859 through 1864, including four 1864 examples from the transition year when the U.S. Mint changed from the heavier copper-nickel composition to bronze. Lot includes both thick and thin-type cents as pictured, with one 1864 noticeably thicker. Coins are circulated with varying degrees of wear, toning and surface condition.
