1974 Eisenhower dollar privately enhanced with a 24K gold-plated finish and commemorative markings honoring the 40th anniversary of the end of World War II, including the dates 1945–1985 and five stars representing General Eisenhower’s five-star rank. Housed in a protective display case with informational certificate stating the coin is covered in pure 24KT gold. This is an original U.S. Mint-issued Eisenhower dollar that was subsequently gold plated and altered for commemorative purposes; it is not a U.S. Mint gold coin. Case shows storage wear and scratches as pictured. Please view photos for condition.
